Due to an approaching typhoon in Japan, Lt. Governor Becky Skillman’s flight to Tokyo has been cancelled. The original Delta flight was scheduled to leave at 12:45 p.m., today, with a layover in Minneapolis. The flight was scheduled to arrive in Tokyo on Wednesday evening. Travel agents are working to get the delegation on later flights to the country, and more details will be released as they become available.

The group was suppose to arrive in Tokyo on Wednesday. Sept. 21, and return on Thursday, Sept. 29. The Japan trip involves visits to Indiana customers including Subaru, Sony, Toyota, and Aisin as well as a keynote address at the Midwest U.S.-Japan Association meeting.
